The training manual discusses issues related to the use of high molecular weight compounds (Navy) in pharmacy and medicine. Much attention is paid to the interaction of polymeric materials with the body, biochemical aspects of biocompatibility, biodegradation. A significant part of the material is devoted to the characterization of certain types of polymers that are widely used in pharmacy.
