The leadership is devoted to periodontal pain relief in dentistry. Modern technologies are described that provide effective, safe and predicted local anesthesia. The structure of the periodontal complex, its development and structure are highlighted, the innervation of the maxillofacial region is clearly shown.
A description of carpoule technology and the features of its use in periodontal anesthesia are given. Such manual and computer methods of periodontal anesthesia as intraligamentous, intraceptic, retromolar transcortical anesthesia, as well as a general characteristic of local anesthetics used in these types of pain relief, are considered in detail. Examples of the most likely local complications and their treatment schemes are presented.
