The curriculum in dentistry for pediatricians does not provide sufficient attention to familiarization with such common diseases as dental caries (common in more than 90% of children), bite abnormalities (more than 70%), diseases of the oral mucosa (stomatitis in children 1-3 years old before 80%) and others. While the destroyed carious teeth burden the course of a series of somatic diseases, forming foci of odontogenic infection, the formation of anomalies of bite is influenced by the "bad habits" of improper breathing, chewing, speech, etc., which are formed in the child before the treatment to the dentist. The task of this publication (manuals) is to introduce a general profile pediatrician to the most common dental diseases in children, the success of treatment and the prevention of which depend on the community of a children"s dentist and a local pediatrician, ensuring the development of a healthy child
