The book presents literary data on free-radical processes in biology and medicine and mechanisms of oxidative modification of proteins. The processes of protein carbonization in the cytoplasm and lysosomes of the cell are considered in order to assess the degree of oxidative stress and the condition of the lysosomal membrane in conditions of modeling of additional synthesis and deficiency of synthesis of nitrogen oxide. In the work, assessment of the level of carbonilized proteins was carried out according to the patented methodology of the authors "Method of a comprehensive assessment of the content of oxidative modification of proteins in tissues and biological fluids".
