Osteoarthritis: from pathogenesis to rational therapy

The monograph is devoted to the most common rheumatic disease - osteoarthritis, which has great socio -economic significance. It presents epidemiology, risk factors for the development and progression of osteoarthritis, the most important components of its pathogenesis, the clinical manifestations of this heterogeneous disease and the main clinical subtips, the meaning of instrumental and laboratory methods in its diagnosis, diagnostic criteria and classification, as well as the main directions of treatment with the symptom analysis -modifying and structural-modifying drugs.
