A collection of clinical recommendations (treatment protocols) on the orthopedics of adults is the result of the collective work of leading specialists in Russia in this field. The publication summarizes the results of fundamental research and the rich clinical experience of Russian and foreign specialists, accumulated over the past decades, taken into account international recommendations and WHO standards.
Practical health care for the first time proposed the treatment of orthopedic diseases in adults. Particular attention is paid to the treatment of pathologies of the spine, the correct and timely treatment of which will reduce the disability of the population. The book sets out protocols for the treatment of osteochondrosis of the spine, spondylolisthesis, severe kyphotic and kyphoscoliotic deformations of the spine, non -specific osteomyelitis of the spine. The collection includes clinical recommendations on the treatment of coxarthrosis, aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and gonarthrosis. Clinical recommendations are presented to optimize osteogenesis processes in slowly consolidated and unusual fractures of long tubular bones, as well as the treatment of post -traumatic defects of bones. Protocols for the treatment of severe complications, in particular paraprophetic infection of the hip joint are presented.
