The textbook is devoted to oral surgery. It provides modern requirements for organizing surgical dental care, disinfection and sterilization in surgical dentistry, and the basic methods of examining patients at surgical dental administration are set out. New directions of radiation diagnostics and the possibility of their interpretation are shown. The tools for conducting surgical dental interventions are described, the techniques of local anesthesia and the features of its use in the oral cavity in the surgery, taking into account the anatomy of the maxillofacial skeleton and the innervation of the organs of the oral organs. Dodontogenic inflammatory diseases are considered, including periodontitis, periostitis, osteomyelitis, and diagnostic methods, differential diagnosis and treatment of this group of diseases.
Particular attention is paid to surgical methods for the treatment of odontogenic inflammatory diseases and odontogenic jaw cysts. A detailed description of the tooth extraction operation is given. For the first time, the treatment of periodontal diseases is presented, the possibilities of directed bone regeneration, as well as methods for treating pathology of the dentist system using dental implantation, are shown.
