The reference book was written using federal clinical recommendations of the Association of Operationalmologists and the National Guidelines for ophthalmology. Diseases are presented according to sections in a convenient tabular form with a uniform and brief presentation of the material: indicating the cipher of the international classification of diseases of the 10th review (in brackets), etiology, clinical picture, diagnosis, drug therapy and modern methods of surgical treatment of eye pathology.
The reference book includes algorithms for studying visual functions, the main and additional methods of studying the organ of vision. Local (topical) drug therapy of eye diseases with a description of pharmacological groups of drugs, non -labeled and trade names of drugs, administration methods, doses, side effects and drug interactions has been examined in detail. Particular attention is paid to issues of emergency ophthalmological pathology, damage and burns of the body of vision, the principles of the provision of emergency and planned high -tech specialized assistance.
