The textbook sets out a systematic course of operational surgery and topographic anatomy for students of medical institutes. In the beginning, two chapters on general issues of operational surgery and topographic anatomy are preferred, and then the topographic anatomy of the regions of the human body and the description of the methodology of surgical operations on them are consistently outlined. This achieves methodological unity in the study of the subject and the features of surgical operations in each topographic and anatomical area.
Particular attention in the textbook is assigned to operational surgery of the musculoskeletal system and abdominal cavity. The textbook contains 567 illustrations.
