The most common phrase that every doctor is probably hearing from his patients - “Well, you gave the hippocratic oath!” Oddly enough, Hippocrates the oath itself is a medical myth. This myth of the oath, like many other rumors related to medicine and established beliefs, has firmly taken root in the minds of the masses.
It is from the oath of Hippocrates that I would like to start my narrative about medical mythology, because the myths about medicine are separated by those who are treated, And, oddly enough, sometimes those who heal. We will talk about whether the statement “all diseases from the nerves” is really true, we will discuss the causes and consequences of dizziness, deal with the features of headaches and back pain, touch on the topic of strokes and epilepsy, determine whether it is possible to believe the principles of evidence -based medicine.
Many are aware of neurological problems, but not everyone is able to embody the voice of the mind, find a competent doctor and determine the correct treatment. Therefore, I hope that my book will help to highlight the main thing in a huge information stream - what you need to maintain health.
