Nursing care for newborn on an outpatient basis

The manual presents relevant aspects of the protection of newborns, the principles of parental advice and interpersonal communication skills are considered, recommendations should be given to parents to care for the newborn at home. The concept of nursing screening of psychomotor development of young children, allowing nurses to independently advise parents on the development of the newborn, has been introduced. Modern ideas about breastfeeding, methods of informing mothers about nutrition of both healthy and patients of newborns are described.
