This publication is the third in a series of workbooks for an independent, extracurricular development of the course “Normal Physiology” and is devoted to the physiology of sensory systems. This topic is included in the mandatory program in the training of specialists in pedagogical, biological and medical universities. The textbook was created by the team of authors on the basis of many years of teaching experience at the Department of Physiology and the General Pathology of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and the Department of Physiology of Human and Animals of the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Questions and tasks in the workbook help students concentrate on working out important points of the study section of the course “Normal Physiology”, without losing the general logic of studying the subject, which helps to improve the understanding and memorization of the material, minimizing the possibilities for unconscious copying of the text. This publication can be used by teachers to conveniently control homework students, as well as become a good help for students of part -time education. The structure of the training manual includes a brief introduction to the problem, the clearly formulated purpose of each section, points for independent study and a list of tasks and questions, including a creative nature, as well as a block of control issues. This allows the student to form a deep understanding of the discipline being studied, which, if necessary, is easily updated in preparation for tests and exams. The publication is intended for students of medical, biological, pharmacological specialties, but it will also be useful for students in psychological, pedagogical, veterinary areas of training specialists
