In "neurosonology and neuroizualization in a stroke" Walduez as a priority methodology for visualizing cerebrovascular circulation disorders and other pathological states of the central nervous system, ultrasound is considered. The first part (a) presents the basic principles of Uz-diagnostics, as well as basic information about cerebrovascular diseases. Anatomy, pathology and pathophysiology of the arteries of the head and neck are described and illustrated in detail. In addition, other methods of visualization of blood vessels (in particular, CT and MRI with contrast) are also highlighted. The second part (c) discusses the advantages and disadvantages of ultrasound in comparison with other methods for the diagnosis of vascular pathology of the central nervous system based on descriptions of 30 clinical cases grouped in terms of the complexity of neurosonographic diagnosis and interpretation of its results. Clinical cases affect various pathological conditions - stenosis and occlusion of extra- and intracranial departments, arteritis, venous sinus thrombosis, vascular mallformations. "Neurosonology and neuroizualization in a stroke" is intended for experts of ultrasound and functional diagnostics, neurrentgenologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, vascular and endovascular surgeons, cardiologists, as well as for doctors of other specialties found in their practice with cerebrovascular diseases
