For the first time, various options for impaired anticipecate functions are considered in the book in the framework of the occipital, temporal, parietal and frontal syndrome, lesion of subcortical structures. Data studies of anticipation in mental pathology (schizophrenia, dementia, neurotic disorders) are presented.
In the final part of the book, the role of anticipacient abilities in the elderly and long -livers is considered. Anticipation is analyzed as a neurocognitive basis of the phenomenon of prosperous aging. The connection of anticipation with some personal and behavioral characteristics is shown.
