The book presents the theoretical, methodological and empirical substantiations of the concept of anticipation in neuropsychology. The main models of localization of anticipation in the brain are considered: neurocognitive, metacognitive, behavioral and system model. The neuroanatomical and neurophysiological basis of anticipacient activity is described in detail. The authors represent a structural and procedural model of anticipation, synthesizing classical work on the psychology of anticipation with modern neuroimaging research data. The place of anticipation in the structure of mental activity and behavior is shown, including social cognition and coping. The results of the development, testing and standardization of the diagnostic diagnostic methodology are presented.
