The book introduces the reader to the tasks and capabilities of neuropsychological diagnostics in psychological, medical and pedagogical practice. The need to combine a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches to solve the problems of neuropsychological diagnostics is substantiated. The most famous psychometric batteries, their advantages and disadvantages are described and analyzed in comparison with the methods of neuropsychological examination by A.R. Luria and his school. The possibilities of a quantitative assessment of the results of a neuropsychological examination of various mental functions in adults and children with the help of Luriev methods are shown and illustrated.
