The textbook discusses the general laws of the functioning of the central nervous system (central nervous system) of children and adolescents, the neural organization of the central nervous system, the mechanisms of excitement and inhibition of neurons of the central nervous system, mediators and their physiological role, the principles of organization of the central nervous system. Materials are contained about the general laws of higher nervous activity (GNI) and their features in children and adolescents: about the conditional reflex as an element of GNI, about the mechanisms of memory and learning, about the conscious and subconscious activity of the brain, about mental activity.
