Modern osteoplastic materials

The book presents the main modern groups of osteoplastic materials used in the oral cavity, describes their characteristics and properties. Clinical examples of the use of osteoplastic materials with alveolous preserving methods of teeth removal in order to maintain bone tissue, in reconstructive surgical dentistry when removing retennated teeth, cystectomy operations to fill bone cavities. The significance of the use of osteoplastic materials at the stages of dental implantation was demonstrated, during subcutral augmentation, the augmentation of the bone crest during an operation to increase the volume of bone tissue. Examples of use of osteoplastic materials and membranes are given during directed bone regeneration in the treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as in the treatment of complications of dental implantation.
