The book is devoted to the problem of diagnosis and treatment of non -coronary heart diseases - myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, myocardiodistrophy, canalopathy, as well as pericarditis - and is written on its own material in comparison with a wide range of modern research, mainly European ones.
The experience of the authors is accumulated in the faculty therapeutic clinic. V.N. Vinogradov of the First Moscow State Medical University. THEM. Sechenov (Sechenov University) mainly over the past 10 years and is based on the integrated use of morphological examination of the myocardium (primarily the endomyocardial biopsy of the right ventricle), other organs, immunological, virological examination, all modern visualizing and interventional methods, genetic counseling and DNA Diagnostics in combination with the traditional for the clinic with a holistic approach to questioning and a comprehensive therapeutic examination of the patient.
The presentation is based on the principle of "from syndromes to the diagnosis and treatment", which is most consistent with working with patients in everyday clinical practice. As the main, syndromes of "idiopathic" arrhythmias, dilatation of heart chambers with a decrease in contractility, ischemia with unchanged coronary arteries, primary myocardial hypertrophy are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the combination of various diseases of the myocardium with each other, as well as with other, widespread heart diseases (coronary artery disease, hypertension, vices, etc).
A unified author"s classification of non -coronary heart diseases, including arrhythmogenic dysplasia of the right ventricle and non -membrane myocardium, is proposed. The principles and results of treatment are described in detail, including antiviral and immunosuppressive myocarditis therapy. Along with the fundamental results in special sections, practical recommendations for diagnosis and treatment developed by the authors are compressed.
