The general methodology for examining the patient is known to graduates of a medical university. However, each specialty has questions for the answer to which additional research methods are applied. Patients preparing for heart surgery require a special approach due to the complexity of pathology and high risk of complications threatening. In order not to miss important information, it is necessary to know the specifics of cardiac surgery and that optimal set of research that will provide for possible risks. Methodological recommendations for conducting patients with indications for surgery are reflected in this publication.
