The leadership presents international and Russian recommendations for menopausal hormonal therapy (MGT) in relation to the activities of general practitioners and doctors of general practice. The "therapeutic" manifestations of menopause and the positive effects of MGT are considered. The analysis of the most common doubts regarding the safety of MGT was carried out, the features of its use in individual diseases were characterized. The attention of the therapist has been paid to the attention of the therapist, the spectrum of examinations in front of the MGT is presented. Recommendations on a healthy lifestyle for women of mature age are given.
