The publication is a practical guide to conduct the history of an outpatient dental patient. The textbook was created by the team of the authors of the Department of Propedian Dental Diseases and the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry of the Medical Institute of the FGAOU in the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples and contains practical recommendations for writing the history of the disease due to the main and most common dental diagnoses in therapeutic, surgical and orthopedic dentistry, a description of the main errors and inaccuracies in the conduct of medical documentation and the analysis of the literature.
