Medical and biological terms in sports (words-referral)

The publication readers presented an expanded interpretation of more than 1900 terms used in the fields of scientific knowledge and its practical implementation in Olympic and professional sports. The reference dictionary covers the basic and most frequently used terms in anatomy, morphology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology and immunology, sports pharmacology, dietetics and nutrition, sports medicine, psychology and psychophysiology, as well as the basics of functional diagnostics in sports.
The lexical material for the dictionary is selected from textbooks and fundamental works of the corresponding profile, modern scientific publications in fundamental periodicals. In addition, in the preparation of the material, general and special dictionaries, encyclopedias, determinants, explanatory dictionaries, reference books and leadership were used. The terminology corresponds to the identical concepts found in the international databases of Medline, Europe Pubmed Central and Pubmed Central International, Emedicine, etc
