The leadership is devoted to the most common benign pathology of the mammary glands-mastopathy (fibrous-acid disease) Modern information is presented about the laws of the development of the mammary glands in ontogenesis, a new original concept of pathogenesis of the disease. The principles of diagnosis and treatment of mastopathy are set out, including with the use of hormonal agents. Particular attention is paid to the use of hormonal contraception and menopausal hormonal therapy in this group of patients. A separate chapter considers the problem of the influence of extractoric fertilization protocols on the condition of the mammary glands, modern aspects of screening of breast cancer.
