The book highlights epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, flow features and surgical treatment of massive ischemic stroke. Particular attention is paid to the description of surgical tactics in a malignant form of the disease. Indications for surgical treatment with malignant forms of stroke are presented. Indications for monitoring intracranial pressure in patients with massive ischemic stroke are determined, and the dynamics of intracranial pressure after decompressive craniotomy is also described.
