It is focused on students of medical universities studying in the specialty "dentistry", and is fully consistent with the university program in the subject "Latin language and the basics of terminology". In this sense, it is the first experience of a specialized manual for medical terminology for future dentists. The basis and core of the lexical material are the words and terms that call organs and systems that are relevant for teaching students of the dental profile, diseases and methods of their treatment, drugs and prescription complexes. At the same time, this material is not strictly profilized: the terms of general medicine are also widely represented in the texts of exercises and in lexical minimums, which the doctor of any specialty should understand and use. In addition to theoretical material, the manual includes complexes of various training exercises. After each part, a detailed dictionary of terms is given. Applications contain additional information that can be used on options, elective courses, contributing to the expansion of the horizons among students and stimulating their interest in the future specialty.
