The training manual corresponds to the specialty 31.08.01 "Obstetrics and gynecology". It presents information about the safe creation of pneumoperitoneum and laparoscopic entering the abdominal cavity. The history of classical laparoscopy and options for insufflation of carbon dioxide into the abdominal cavity are described. The features of the entry technique during the adhesive process are considered, in patients with excess body weight. Information is given about the frequency, the nature of the complications associated with this stage of the operation. The evidence base on the safety and effectiveness of modern methods of pneumoperitoneum is presented, including modern tools, methods used to reduce surgical risks.
