Catatima-hyparginative psychotherapy took shape as an independent direction of psychodynamic therapy only in the middle of the last century in the works of Khancarla Lineer. This textbook describes the new one that has appeared in this direction in recent years. First of all, this applies to the status of imagination, which are not considered autonomously, but as a specific product of the dynamics of psychotherapeutic relations. The determination of the therapeutic catatamic imagination was formulated, including a kinesthetic dimension as an obligatory attribute. The functions of Imagenations are described: expression and clarification, stabilization, formation of structure - and their properties: kinesthetic ability to live experiences and aesthetic ability. The methodological issues and the technique of Imaginations are illuminated in detail, illustrated by the example of three cases from the practice of short -term, long -term and analytical therapy
