Joint pain is the most painful manifestation of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. If you do not take the necessary measures in time, the pain syndrome will turn for a person into a daily test, when even the simplest movements will be given with difficulty, and only about the active lifestyle will only be dreamed of.
The leadership presents the physiological characteristic of the pain syndrome of the movement apparatus (chronic pain syndromes, muscle and articular pain, fascial-ligamentous pain) From modern positions, the mechanisms of various diseases of the ligamentous and capsule apparatus of the joints are considered, clinical and functional signs are clarified, which allow with great reliability to diagnose the disease of the joint. The principles and basic remedies of rehabilitation treatment are described: drug treatment, active motor regime, physical activity, including aerobic, physical factors, massage, psychocorrection, manual therapy, kinesiotherapy, as well as orthopedic devices. The presented recovery treatment programs for diseases (damage) of the joints are evaluated not only from the standpoint of evidence-based medicine, but also from the standpoint of the syndrome-pathogenetic approach to the disease.
The management is designed for rehabilitologists (including specialists of medical physical culture, physio- and manual therapy, psychologists), rheumatologists, orthopedic traumatologists, neurologists. It will be useful for students of medical universities, as well as for students of faculties of advanced training
