The next volume of the “Interpretation of Biopsies” series is devoted to the morphological diagnosis of diseases that make up the entire basic spectrum of thyroid pathology.
Since the structure of the thyroid gland is quite specific, the first chapter of the book describes the macro- and microscopic structure of the organ. Further chapters contain a modern classification of pathological changes in the thyroid gland, technical aspects of the cytological and histological examination of biopics, additional methods of diagnosis of diseases. Separate chapters are devoted to the diagnosis of cystic, inflammatory, papillary and follicular changes, as well as solid and trabecular formations, etc.
