The new volume of the “Interpretation of Biopsies” series is designed to familiarize yourself with various types of skin lesions and their differential diagnosis. The book first examines the technique and methodology of performing skin biopsy. Separately considered benign melanocytic tumors, predecessors of melanoma and directly melanoma. The precancerous states of the epidermis, such as actan keratosis, and malignant skin tumors, including basal cell and flat cell cancer, are also discussed. The management is completed by sections dedicated to benign and malignant tumors of skin appendages, and the section on superficial soft tissue sarcomes, which often imitate other skin neoplasms.
At the end of the leadership, medical and legal issues that are important for specialists involved in the interpretation of skin biopsy are discussed. Unlike ordinary dermatopathology textbooks, a discussion of differential diagnostic aspects and their distinction in accordance with the main nosological units are also included.
