The book summarizes modern literature data, as well as the results of the authors" own research on the problem of innate immunity. In recent years, there has been a revision of ideas about the significance and functional activity of the congenital immunity system. Its most important role in the presentation of antigens of T-lymphocytes and the instructive function in determining the direction of their differentiation by Th-1 or TP-2 paths have been established. Molecular and cellular mechanisms for the implementation of these functions have been identified. Based on these data, as well as using the methods of determining these functions that appeared in immunology, the authors conducted a comprehensive study on the disclosure of the mechanisms of action of microbial immunomodulators on the system of congenital immunity by establishing the degree of activation of the main effectors of this system on the cellular (DC, NK) and molecular (cytokine , bony, adhesive molecules, MNS, etc) levels.
The data obtained characterize the mechanism of action of three studied immunomodulators on the effector functions of congenital immunity, which allows you to determine the strategy of their most rational use in various immunopathology.
For immunologists, allergists, pediatricians, scientists, teachers and students of medical universities, biological faculties of universities
