The textbook was created according to the program of teaching students of medical colleges in the specialty "Obstetris". It presents modern data on the general pathology of infectious diseases, the basics of epidemiology, diagnostic methods, treatment principles, and the prevention of this group of diseases in women who plan conception or are already pregnant. The most common and significant from the point of view of clinical practice infectious diseases in women during gestation are considered. Differential diagnosis and tactics of patients with infectious pathology during pregnancy are illuminated in detail. Recommendations were compiled with the aim of optimizing and increasing the level of training of students of medical colleges (in particular, for midwives).
The publication reflects the main issues for obtaining a basic level of knowledge, contributing to the determination of a tactical approach in the conduct of pregnant patients with infectious pathology. The information is given about infectious processes that are most common in obstetric practice.
