Industrial biotechnology of drugs

The training manual outlines the main stages, methods and processes of biotechnological production of drugs. The main achievements of microbial biotechnology and engineering enzymology are considered when creating medicinal, preventive and diagnostic drugs. A review of relevant development of biotechnological production in the field of vaccines, bacteriophages, bacterial drugs that normalize human microflora, antibiotics, vitamins and enzyme preparations is given.
