The textbook presents modern information about almost all key aspects of the structure and functioning of the immunity system in normal and pathology. At the organism, cellular and molecular genetic levels, ideas about the factors of the congenital and the mechanisms of the formation of adaptive (acquired) immunity are generalized. Information is given about the populations of the cells of the immune system, the receptor structures of immunocytes, the mechanisms of the formation of intracellular signaling pathways, the main complex of histocompatibility, genetic control of immunity, immunological memory. Immunodeficiency, allergic and autoimmune diseases are dismantled. The possibility of phenotypic correction of genetic control of the immune response using immunotropic drugs is shown.
