Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy of newborns

This leadership reflects many -year multilateral studies of authors in the field of n andonatal neurology, and also presents a generalization of the scientific achievements of various neonatological and neurological schools in this area. The issues of epidemiology, the causes and mechanisms of the development of hypoxic lesions of the brain are considered, data on morphological changes in the nervous system of the newborn with hypoxia are presented. A significant place is given to the clinical picture and modern methods of diagnosis of hypoxic and hectic encephalopathy, the results of original studies of the authors are given. The treatment of the conditions under consideration is represented taking into account modern requirements for the appointment and control of drug therapy.
