In the 4th edition of the textbook, along with classical provisions, topical issues of developing the medicine of the future were discussed, modern achievements of practical healthcare in the field of medical genetics are reflected. Particular attention is paid to personified medicine, modern technologies (tissue engineering, cell programming, editing genes and much more), which are a tool for medicine of the future.
The authors summarize the experience of teaching human genetics with the basics of medical genetics in secondary special educational institutions, the methodological features of the presentation of the material at different levels of vocational training were taken into account.
The textbook is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education, meets the criteria for the results of the development of a program for the training of secondary specialists according to the discipline “Human Genetics Genetics” and is intended for students in the specialties “Medicine”, “Acusherian business , Nursing.
