The textbook was prepared on the basis of many years of rich clinical experience by professors of the Military Medical Academy and medical universities in St. Petersburg, summarizing the latest achievements of surgical science both in our country and abroad. The work contains basic information on etiology, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis and treatment of the most important surgical, including oncological, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, mediastinum, emergency surgery of the chest and abdomen, cardiovascular and children"s surgery.
