For a successful study of pathological processes in tissues, it is necessary to know histology well. The book “Histology for pathologists” is a reference publication in which information on the histology of each system of organs and tissues is summarized. In the new edition, a number of chapters are complemented by new histological illustrations of artifacts and cases that can be mistakenly interpreted as pathological changes. There is also a new chapter dedicated to the histological structure of the synovial shells. In addition to the introductory chapters of electron microscopy, immunofluorescence, immunohystochemistry, histochemistry, the structure of the cell and the basics of tissue structure, a new chapter was prepared with a description of histological artifacts.
