Several years have passed since the first edition of the “hemostasis in clinical practice”, which required a serious renewal and addition of the material.
The book presents the basics of the physiology of the hemostasis system and laboratory diagnostics, the history of the development of anticoagulants and antigen -sides, the features of their use, including including taking into account genetic factors. The emphasis was on the tactics of patients after operations of revascularization of the myocardium or having heart valves prostheses. The algorithms for the correction of antitrombotic therapy are presented if the patients are performed by invasive interventions. Separate chapters are devoted to anticoagulant therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation and venous thrombosis, local hemostatic drugs.
The publication was prepared by cardiologists and surgeons, with the participation of experts in the field of laboratory diagnostics and genetics.
The authors hope that the presented management will be useful to doctors of various specialties, as well as students of medical educational institutions
