The training manual presents recommendations for the conduct of a universal two -stage audiological screening of newborns, including prematurely with a different gestation period, and children of the first year of life by registering a otoacoustic issue and various classes
auditory caused potentials. Modern generalizing data on the sensitivity and specificity of screening in newborns and premature children with different gestational terms are considered. Systems to increase economic efficiency are described by reducing the number of unjustified expensive examinations conducted at the stage of expanded audiological research. Close attention is paid to the beginning of the early rehabilitation of children with hearing impairment of varying degrees of severity.
