The acquisition of practical skills in obstetrics is an integral part of the study of discipline and training of medical personnel as a whole.
The creation of this manual to study practical skills pursued the goal of offering teachers already generalized methodological materials that will allow students to acquire practical skills and consolidate their knowledge at the course "Obstetrics and Gynecology". The manual was compiled on the basis of many years of clinical and pedagogical experience of employees of the department of the university in accordance with the requirements of the state educational standard in the specialty 31.01.01 "Medicine".
The material is presented in a logical sequence, includes the examination algorithms and the technique of performing a number of manipulations provided for by the Obrase and Gynecology training program.
These methodological recommendations contain a number of applications: a schematic description of the identification points on the fetal head and examples of examination modules for taking a practical exam.
This manual will facilitate teaching practical skills and will help young specialists to successfully use them in practical obstetrics and gynecology
