The textbook contains 36 separate chapters and is divided into 6 main sections that reflect the general issues of surgery, the knowledge of which is necessary to perceive the subsequent course of surgical diseases and related disciplines.
The textbook reveals a modern idea of collecting an anamnesis, conducting a medical examination, the possibilities of laboratory and instrumental research methods in the diagnosis of surgical diseases. The methodology of making a clinical diagnosis is described, approaches to protecting the rights of the patient and medical personnel are reflected, methods for assessing the risk of surgical surgery, the prevention of complications and monitoring the postoperative period are given. A separate section reflects the main methods of treating patients with surgical profile, which are tested in practice, where, along with traditional methods, modern high -tech methods of treating surgical patients are also given. Particular attention is paid to the diagnosis and principles of treatment of the most common syndromes in the clinical practice, the prevention and treatment of surgical infection, sepsis and damage in the competence of the surgeon.
