The first edition of the national leadership “General Medical Practice” was published in 2013 and turned out to be a very important resource for the training of general practitioners (family doctors), the need for which increases every year. This publication has preserved the structure proposed by the author’s team earlier and includes actually all sections of clinical medicine that are within the competence of a general practitioner (family doctor), which are set out taking into account modern recommendations based on evidence-based medicine and with an emphasis on primary health care.
The management was published in two volumes. The first volume contains data on the history and philosophy of family medicine, the organization of the activities of general medical practice at the present stage of the development of the healthcare system, as well as on organizing pro -landscaping, including the medical examination of the population. Discussion of the principle of pissing a biopsychosocial approach to the management of patients, the problem of the mutual relations of the patient and the doctor, the technology of counseling and teaching patients. Basic information on the principles of evidence -based medicine is given. Information on the most common diseases that are found in the activities of the doctor of primary medical care is set out.
In the preparation of this publication, leading specialists in the field of general medical practice (family medicine), as well as specialists in other fields of clinical medicine, took part as authors and reviewers. The leadership was the stage of independent review.
The manual is intended for general practitioners (family doctors), other doctors participating in the provision of primary health care, as well as the residents and graduate students of medical universities
