The manual outlines modern data on functional dyspepsia, including issues of its definition, classification, etiology and pathogenesis, features of the clinical picture and diagnostic criteria. The main clinical variants of the disease and the features of their course are considered. A modern algorithm is described that reveals the main stages of diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from FD in conditions of clinical practice.
