The manual is devoted to one of the most important sections of the normal anatomy of a person - anatomy of the central nervous system. The material is presented from functional positions, taking into account the international anatomical nomenclature (2003) The manual systematizes and summarizes modern ideas about macro-microscopic anatomy of the brain. The patterns of the structure of the neuron, reflex arc, the system of afferent and efferent nerve fibers are presented. The functional meaning of the basic anatomical formations in each area of the brain is shown and the most characteristic clinical manifestations are presented with their lesions. Modern ideas about the dynamic localization of functions in the cortex of the cerebral hemispheres are considered, the main conductive paths of the central nervous system and functional disorders in their lesions are described in detail. The text is illustrated by classic and original drawings.
