The book contains the latest epidemiological and immunopathological data relating to the characteristics of food allergies in children
and adults, the nature of the clinical course of the disease. A rational, scientifically substantiated approach to its diagnosis (patient examination algorithms, including component allergodia), as well as new tasks of treatment and prevention of food allergies, have been proposed. The features of the differential diagnosis of this disease are described, the question of the relationship of food allergies with atopic dermatitis is discussed, the features of the diagnosis and therapy of eosinophilic esophagitis, the role of food in maintaining contact dermatitis to metal (nickel), as well as features of reactions to alcohol.
