First aid manual for traumatology

This guide is devoted to the basic rules for first aid for patients of adult and childhood with damage to the musculoskeletal system. It analyzes the long-term practical experience of the residents of one of the US clinics, in writing practical recommendations, existing orthopedists of various departments of this clinic took an active part. The algorithm of actions in specific clinical cases is presented, the features of collecting an anamnesis at the prehospital stage are described, the main techniques for the bone dislocations forming large joints, and the reposition of fractures with the displacement of bone fragments of the segments of the upper and lower extremities, as well as the spine. The rules of gypsum immobilization with the bringing of appropriate illustrations are described in detail.
