Field surgery

The experience of military doctors in military conflicts of the late XX and the beginning of the 21st century, as well as in the elimination of various disasters and natural disasters, is reflected. The textbook contains basic information on military field surgery and is fully consistent with the student training program in higher medical educational institutions and the training program for the reserve medical service officers. Particular attention is paid to issues of modern combat surgical trauma and its complications. The principles of diagnosis and treatment of gunshot and exposure wounds of various localization are described. The organization of medical assistance to the wounded and victims is represented in accordance with the modern structure of the medical service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
