The leadership sets out modern ideas about fever, which is one of the most common pathological syndromes in children. Data on the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of fever, its clinical manifestations and potential complications, including febrile convulsions, are presented. Information about the frequency of occurrence and types of fever with many different infectious and non -infectious diseases in children of different ages, starting from the new world, is given. Much attention is paid to the issues of differential diagnosis of feverish states in children. Recommendations for treatment are given.
